Maintaining daily / weekly:

Vacuum. One or two times a year with intense suction vacuum cleaner brush, above and below if necessary the carpet.

Little "accidents":

Liquid stains: coffee, wine, soft ...

1st. With a dry cloth of Russian cotton (towel), rub the wet area to absorb as much liquid and not let the carpet soak.

2nd. With this cloth, or another if this one become very dirty, wet a corner with hot water, put a few drops of soap (for wool) or liquid soap on hand (dishwasher) and rub the wet area. We used to do little to prevent soap scum. Combed by hand and left to dry.

Stubborn stains:

Long-term maintenance:

Each 2/3/5 years (when the carpet does not look clean enough) recommend bringing in a specialist carpet cleaning oriental rugs.
